DESCRIPTION

To understand the fundamentals of ICT Audit, the audit universe, internal controls, compliance as to Standards and Policies, types of Audits, Risk Assessments and concepts, CAATS techniques used in ICT audits, ICT Project and Service management, ICT Security Management

PRE-REQUISITES

MODULE 1 - INTRODUCTION TO ICT AUDIT

Diploma/Degree in IT or Accountancy with 1-3 years working experience in IT , Internal Audit or Financial accounting environment.

Non accounting/commerce Diploma holders (IT) will be given short duration intensive courses in practical accounting and internal audit.

MODULE 2 - INFORMATION SYSTEMS (IS) MANAGEMENT AUDIT I

Certificate in INTRODUCTION TO ICT AUDIT (Module1) or

Graduates with basic degree in computer science, network engineering, software programmers etc

Accounting graduates (ACCA,CIMA,)

Management Degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Economics)

IT graduates will be given short duration intensive course in practical accounting and fundamentals of audit.

MODULE 3 AND 4 - INFORMATION SYSTEMS (IS) MANAGEMENT AUDIT II AND III

Graduates with basic degree in computer science, network engineering, software programmers,etc.

Accounting graduates (ACCA,CIMA,)

Management Degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Economics)

3-5 Years working experience is compulsory either in IT,Audit,or accounting environments.

IT graduates will be given short duration intensive course in principals of accounting and fundamentals of audit.
